Guadalest

Resort: Torrevieja

Historians have named Guadalest as the Eagles Nest; it’s a short drive yet a million miles away from Benidorm.  Set high in the mountains this village was once a fortress that protected locals, where the only way to enter is through a carved tunnel through the mountain. At the top the panoramic views are absolutely spectacular and you can see for miles around. The cobbled streets that line the village have small museums, boutiques with really unusual, quality and fairly priced gifts plus great little cafes. This is one place you can’t afford to miss out on and we will give you a couple of hours to ensure you create your own highlight of this village. Your guide is the expert on this part of Spain and will give you all the information to bring this part of the world to life. To complete this cultural experience we include a visit to a local bodega, wine and liqueur tasting, completes a great day out. The first part of the day will be in Buscot for coffee and cakes plus a chance to sample the local liqueur whilst watching a light hearted and interesting demonstration on therapeutic health products.
